I identified and facilitated the acquisition of a high-potential brand by conducting thorough market research to capitalize on key opportunities.

Working closely with the founder, I ensured a smooth integration into our in-house team while preserving the brand’s vision. I played a pivotal role in developing a DTC growth plan, creating marketing materials, and shaping content and social strategies to create a cohesive brand positioned for scalability.

The acquirer sought to enter the hemp-based skincare market and expand their portfolio of consumer brands. I identified Herbo — a gender-neutral, hemp-based skincare brand known for its premium ingredients and packaging at an accessible price point — as the ideal target.

I oversaw the evaluation process, focusing on Herbo’s brand equity, alignment with the acquirer’s long-term vision, and ability to integrate seamlessly into their existing manufacturing setup and supply chain to optimize costs.

Given Herbo’s focus on hemp-based products, I led a detailed due diligence process that included assessing regulatory compliance, supply chain reliability, and potential synergies.

The acquisition of Herbo was a resounding success. The founder played an active role in the integration process, ensuring a smooth transition while onboarding the new team and preserving the brand's original vision.

Herbo was seamlessly integrated into the acquirer’s portfolio, leveraging shared resources to maximize cost efficiency and operational effectiveness. By aligning the brand with the acquirer’s established infrastructure and strategic capabilities, we positioned Herbo for scalability and long-term profitability.

This successful integration not only solidified Herbo’s growth potential but also provided the acquirer with an expedited route to enter a new market.
