FOUNDER

Wolven is more than just a brand; it’s a community — a Wolfpack — where consciousness, caring for our climate, creativity, and culture converge. It was born from the intersection of two worlds that shaped me deeply — the world I embraced in my twenties and the world I was rooted in as a child. Wolven is a bridge between these worlds, a brand built on my personal journey and a testament to the idea that as third culture leaders, our work can honor both our heritage and our future.

MY STORY

The first world I knew was the one of my ancestors — the places I traveled to in the East as a child and the stories that shaped me. Visiting these lands, I was immersed in a tapestry of color, pattern, and meaning. Wolven’s iconic geometric prints are a tribute to the cultures of my parents, inspired by the intricate symbolism of Hindu and Buddhist mandalas and the architectural beauty of Islamic art. Across these seemingly different cultures, I found a common language — shared patterns, sacred geometry, and artistic traditions that transcend borders. This world gave me a deep appreciation for design as storytelling, for fashion as something more than fabric, but as a connection to history, identity, and self-expression.

THE VISION

Wolven is also a love letter to Los Angeles: a place where I found freedom in art, color, and nature — a city that pulses with creativity and reinvention. It was a time of swimming in the ocean, ecstatic dances on Venice Beach, grabbing smoothies at Erewhon, scaling rocks in Joshua Tree on weekends, and dancing the night away at A Club Called Rhonda. The energy was electric, a place where self-expression had no limits and where fashion became a form of identity, movement, and rebellion. Wolven emerged from this world, during the peak of festival culture, in an era when yoga was still a fringe, alt pursuit and sustainability was a cause championed by only the most devoted activists. I wanted to create something that embodied this spirit—something bold, conscious, and unapologetically different.

SUSTAINABILITY

Make Sustainability Sexy ®

Since day one, Wolven has been built on an impact-first philosophy, weaving sustainability into every thread of our brand. Rooted in the Yogic principle of Ahimsa — the practice of nonviolence — we are committed to leaving the Earth better than we found it. Every decision, from our design philosophy, eco conscious materials and thoughtful packaging to the renewable energy grids we power from and the shipping carriers we choose, reflects this mission. We partner with organizations that align with our values, ensuring that our work extends beyond fashion and into meaningful change. Our signature prints are inspired by the sacred geometry found in nature, a reminder of the interconnectedness of all things, and a reflection of our deep commitment to honoring and protecting the planet.

IMPACT PARTNERS

When we say we’re here to Make Sustainability Sexy, we truly mean it. For over a decade, our team ensured that Wolven built meaningful partnerships with thought leaders in the sustainability space and at the forefront of climate tech to create tangible impact. As a Climate Neutral Certified company, we measured, reduced, and offset our entire carbon footprint, ensuring every piece had minimal impact. Through 1% for the Planet, we funded high-impact environmental initiatives, while Clean Hub helped us remove plastic waste from coastal communities drowning in pollution. With Treet, we embraced circular fashion before it was mainstream, extending the lifecycle of our products and reducing textile waste. These efforts put Wolven at the forefront of sustainable fashion — an industry responsible for 10% of global carbon emissions and the second-largest consumer of water worldwide. Our work in this space even earned Wolven recognition by Forbes for World Oceans Day, proving that fashion can be both beautiful and responsible.

CIRCULARITY: FIRST MOVERS IN implementing IMPACT TECH

The resale market is transforming the way we think about fashion, creating a more sustainable and circular economy by extending the life cycle of garments. Resale not only reduces waste but also empowers consumers to see their purchases as investments rather than disposables. At Wolven, we recognized this shift early on and became a first mover in the resale space, launching Wolven Pre-Loved in 2020, a platform that allows our community to keep their garments in circulation. By giving our customers the tools to resell, rehome, and recirculate their pieces, we’re not just reducing fashion’s footprint—we’re fostering a movement where sustainability and style go hand in hand.

Trust Built On Transparency

In an effort to take accountability for our commitment to our earth and transparently communicate our efforts to our audience, Wolven has published annual Impact Reports
since 2022.
